I’m fascinated by space. There is a whole spectrum of colours weaved into the faces of planets, and a stream of never-ending questions pondering what exists beyond the edges of our galaxy. It makes us wonder how something so small and simple as the human race can work in conjunction with something so complex and magnificent as the Universe. It makes you realize how things like stupid fights with your parents or breakups are fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of things. When you put everything in perspective and realize that humans are in fact not the centre of the Universe, it allows you to live life more objectively. I yearn for the day when humankind ventures out to live among the stars. Perhaps then we will be able to live without prejudice and think without ignorance. Perhaps once we see space and its true glory, we will achieve peace.
